Behind the art
For much of my life, my journey felt like walking through a maze: full of turns, dead ends, hidden truths and parts of myself I didn't understand yet.
Over time, I realised the maze was something to explore. Every turn taught me more about myself—and somewhere inside all those emotions, I found a way to turn pain, vulnerability and wonder into art.
I'm Maze. I create dark fantasy character art for people who care deeply about their characters: the soft, the powerful, the broken, the kind, the cruel, and everything in between.
“I want to capture more than how they look. I want to find the part of them that feels alive.”Tell me who you're bringing through the maze

“Maze is an incredible artist who immediately caught on to the vision of what I wanted for my piece! Then delivered a final product that was beyond my wildest dreams. She talked with me every step of the way and gave me updates which is always so fun! She has a passion for art that feels infectious! I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
“After commissioning 3 different pieces with Mazephoria Art, I now recommend her to all indie authors looking for fantasy art! She was thorough before beginning, getting as much information as possible and even read snippets of the story to get a good feel for the characters. I received many sketches throughout the process to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. If there was ever anything that needed to be adjusted, she was able to implement them quickly and without any trouble. I can’t recommend her enough, and hope to continue commissioning more art in the future.”
“I ended up re-commissioning my DnD character, Eliana, with Maze, and honestly the entire process was exemplary. She ended up sketching like 3–4 different poses before we settled on one, and she was more than happy to modify hair, armor, etc. She made sure to get exactly what I wanted, rather than just winging things. It was a bit more expensive than art I've commissioned previously, but overall it was definitely worth it. Maze herself is lovely, and I couldn't have been happier with choosing to commission her.”
“Having been a client of Mazephoria’s for the past few years has been quite the blast. She’s drawn many things for me from sketches, to renders to even eye banners. She’s worked with my many characters and helped bring them to life. Each and every commission I’ve gotten from her has always been what I wanted and she always made sure to ask what I needed or if anything was missed. Her communication has been top tier for me, and I’ve never regretted being a client or being a returning customer! I’ll probably be a client for a long time! I would highly recommend her to anyone new to her!”
